I am an artist, art psychotherapist/ UK-licensed mental health professional and more recently, a certified EFL teacher with over 4 years of experience in the fields of creative arts, psychology/ mainstream mental health + language learning/ teaching. I'm currently looking to work remotely as an online English teacher, as I am a perpetual traveller, living out of a suitcase and appreciate the flexibility of time and stability of pay, that comes with this sort of work.

My teaching style is eclectic, which means I use a range of diverse teaching methods to keep my students motivated and engaged with the lesson. I believe in creating a safe learning environment where students can build the confidence to freely produce the language and not worry about getting messy or making mistakes! My sessions are usually high-energy, fun, interactive, relevant and student-focused with an emphasis on improving language-fluency, conversational and communicative skills. We will also utilise other online features such as the chat-box and microphone to work on the remaining three key skills - reading, writing and listening.

My current goals are to bring high standards of English language education to the homes of my students whilst simultaneously promoting inclusion, diversity and cultural awareness. I understand first-hand, how challenging and/ or daunting learning a new language can seem, having learned French & Spanish myself. Therefore, I like to ensure that my classroom does not condemn mistakes, appreciates and praises students for their efforts and helps each student set, work towards and achieve learning goals whilst developing the ability to self-evaluate and reflect on their progress. I also speak 4 Native Indian languages.
